Friday, December 3 -The Douglaston Garden Club sponsors a Daffodil planting event at PS. 221
Patricia Yoon, in charge of Beautification programs for the Douglaston Garden Club, Inc., has been planting daffodils bulbs with the students of PS 221 on Marathon Parkway, Friday, December 3. Joining her in this wonderful endeavor, was Maya Kovach and Doug Montgomery, also members of the Douglaston Garden Club. "It was a very rewarding experience to work with young children” says Patricia.
As a result of this event and all the programs Patricia and the Douglaston Garden Club is sponsoring with our local private and public Douglaston and Little Neck schools, Patricia received an award for leadership from the New York City Parks department as well as the PS 221 5th graders’ gratitude.

September 11, 2021 - Queens County Farm Country Fair and Flower. DGC Programs Chairwoman, Mary Taylor, won a Blue Ribbon and "First in Show" for Horticulture.
